Confirm the Vehicle Interface and Site Supply Before Selecting Power

Our CCS1 DC Fast Charger supplies regulated DC power to compatible vehicles through a CCS1 connector. The floor-mounted platform offers 40–240kW configurations and a DC200–1000V output range for commercial charging projects.

CCS1 establishes the vehicle-side charging interface, but it does not confirm the site's incoming voltage, the vehicle's accepted charging power or compatibility with every North American EV. These items must be reviewed separately before model approval.

A North American Location Does Not Automatically Mean CCS1

CCS1 is commonly associated with North American electric vehicles, but connector adoption can vary by vehicle model, production year and fleet procurement plan. The actual charging inlet on each target vehicle remains the reliable selection reference.

Confirm that each vehicle has a CCS1 DC inlet rather than CCS2, CHAdeMO, GB/T or another connection system.

Include vehicles already operating and confirmed future purchases. Do not select every connector from current fleet data alone.

Input-voltage warning: The listed series input is AC380V ±20%, 3P + N + PE. A CCS1 connector does not make this input suitable for every North American site. Provide the actual utility service before equipment selection.

Power Selection

Calculate Usable Output at the Vehicle's Operating Voltage

A charger's kilowatt rating and maximum current must be read together. A vehicle may not receive the nameplate power if the required current exceeds the configured CCS1 cable or charger output limit.

Battery Voltage

The DC200–1000V range covers varied battery platforms, but the charger can only supply voltage requested within the compatible charging session.

Maximum Current

The NEDF series current range extends to 300A. The final maximum depends on the selected charger, connector and cable configuration.

Vehicle Charging Curve

Accepted power changes with state of charge, temperature and battery control limits. Peak power normally applies during only part of a session.

Engineering relationship: DC power is approximately voltage multiplied by current. For example, 120kW at 400V requires about 300A before conversion losses and operating limits are considered.

Configure Charging Bays Around the Actual Vehicle Mix

Single CCS1 Connector

Suitable where one vehicle charges at a time and the cabinet output is assigned to one bay, subject to vehicle and cable limits.

Dual CCS1 Connectors

Supports two CCS1-equipped vehicles. Confirm total cabinet power and maximum simultaneous output available to each connector.

Mixed Connector Pair

A project may combine CCS1 with another supported interface when the fleet requires it. State the intended pairing before quotation.

Dual-bay check: Two connectors do not double the cabinet rating. Power-sharing behavior must be stated in the ordered specification.

Provide site voltage, phases, frequency, transformer rating and available capacity under peak operating conditions.

Plan cable routes, parking direction, vehicle inlet locations, protective barriers and maintenance access.

Confirm OCPP Compatibility Independently from CCS1

CCS1 governs the charger-to-vehicle interface. OCPP governs communication between the charging station and a management platform. One does not automatically confirm the other.
