A CHAdeMO DC Charger delivers direct current through a CHAdeMO connector to compatible vehicles. It can be deployed as a dedicated charger or included in a mixed-interface charging station serving more than one vehicle standard.
NEWCOM's configurable floor-mounted platform offers 40–240kW rated-power options and DC200–1000V output. The suitable configuration depends on the intended CHAdeMO vehicles, their accepted charging limits, site capacity and required connector arrangement.
A CHAdeMO connector should be selected from actual vehicle demand, not regional assumptions alone.
The business case depends on the number of compatible vehicles, their operating life and whether the site also serves other charging standards.
Retain charging access for operational vehicles that already use CHAdeMO and are expected to remain in service.
Combine CHAdeMO with another supported connector when public demand includes multiple charging interfaces.
Serve applicable imported vehicles after confirming their inlet, voltage platform and charging communication requirements.
Provide charging for vehicle preparation, servicing and delivery where CHAdeMO-equipped models are handled.
Support compatible vehicles during maintenance workflows without depending on public charging availability.
Replace or expand existing capacity while retaining a connector used by the site's current customer base.
CHAdeMO can be specified within the configurable commercial floor-mounted platform. Final voltage, current and connector allocation must be confirmed for the selected model.

Vehicle-side CHAdeMO voltage and current limits should be checked separately. A cabinet's maximum rated power does not mean every connected CHAdeMO vehicle can accept that output.
Use the vehicle population and expected charging sessions to decide whether CHAdeMO needs a dedicated cabinet or one connector within a multi-standard station.
Suitable where one compatible vehicle charges at a time and the site has defined CHAdeMO demand.
Consider for fleets or charging sites where two compatible vehicles regularly require simultaneous access.
Supports sites serving both CHAdeMO vehicles and compatible vehicles using a CCS connector.
Connector combinations and power distribution require engineering confirmation for the intended vehicle mix.
Charging performance is limited by the vehicle's battery voltage, requested current and charging curve, even when the cabinet has a higher rated output.
Use the site's CHAdeMO session data to choose between a dedicated connector and a mixed cabinet.
Match charger quantity and output to vehicle return times, routes and available dwell periods.
Retain interface coverage for compatible vehicles while balancing demand from other connector standards.
Support applicable vehicles during preparation, customer delivery and maintenance operations.
A complete specification reduces connector, power-distribution and backend changes during installation.
Send the compatible vehicle list, expected daily sessions, other required connectors, available grid supply and charging-platform requirements.
List CHAdeMO vehicles, charging limits, expected sessions and other interfaces required at the site.
Review rated power, connector count, output allocation, cable length and cooling requirements.
Finalize remote operation, optional OCPP, networking, access methods and OEM details.
Confirm model specifications, inspection, packaging, destination and installation responsibilities.
The vehicle must have a compatible CHAdeMO charging inlet and operate within the charger's configured voltage and current limits. Provide the intended vehicle models before ordering.
The configurable commercial platform offers 40kW, 60kW, 80kW, 120kW, 160kW, 180kW and 240kW rated-power options. The appropriate model depends on vehicle acceptance and site conditions.
No. Actual output is limited by the vehicle's requested voltage and current, its charging curve, the cable rating and the configured charger output.
A mixed-interface cabinet can be discussed using CHAdeMO together with a supported CCS connector. The vehicle mix, simultaneous demand and power-allocation method must be confirmed.
Yes. Dual-connector configurations are available. Maximum output per vehicle and simultaneous power distribution depend on the selected charger model.
OCPP is available as an optional feature for compatible charging-management platforms. State the required OCPP version, backend and networking method before production.
The floor-mounted series has an IP54 enclosure and supports indoor or outdoor operation from -20°C to 50°C. Foundation, drainage, electrical protection and service clearance remain part of the local site design.
Include vehicle models, battery voltage, accepted charging power, expected daily sessions, required charger rating, connector combination, site input supply, cable length, OCPP needs, quantity, destination and OEM requirements.
