Product Introduction
GB/T Commercial DC Charging

Match the Charging Protocol, Auxiliary Supply and Vehicle Platform

A GBT DC Charger supplies controlled direct current through a GB/T DC connector to compatible electric vehicles. The charger and vehicle exchange charging requirements before energy transfer begins, allowing the output to follow the vehicle battery-management system within configured limits.

NEWCOM's floor-mounted platform offers 40–240kW power selections, DC200–1000V output and a GB/T-compatible 12V auxiliary power configuration. The ordered model must be matched to the actual vehicles, site input supply and charging-bay plan.

40–240kW Selectable rated power
DC200–1000V Wide output-voltage range
12V Compatible GB/T auxiliary supply
IP54 Indoor or outdoor cabinet

Charging Begins Only After Vehicle Confirmation

The vehicle and charger coordinate before and during power delivery.

1
Physical connection

The GB/T charging connector is correctly connected and locked.

2
Vehicle communication

The charger exchanges operating information with the vehicle system.

3
Output adjustment

Voltage and current follow the vehicle request within charger limits.

4
Session completion

Power delivery stops before the connector is safely released.

Selection Priorities

Four Decisions That Shape a GB/T Charger Configuration

The interface standard is one part of the project. Rated power, connector quantity, cable construction and network operation must also be defined.

01

Vehicle Compatibility

Confirm the target vehicles use a compatible GB/T DC inlet and fall within the available voltage range.

02

Power Demand

Use vehicle charging limits, dwell time and daily traffic to select a practical charger rating.

03

Connector Layout

Specify single, dual or multi-gun operation and how total cabinet power should be distributed.

04

Site Integration

Confirm incoming power, installation environment, networking, access control and platform requirements.

Quotation Inputs

Provide Project Data Before Selecting the Model

Vehicle and site information allows the charger configuration to be assessed as a complete system rather than as a connector-only purchase.

  1. Vehicle models Confirm GB/T inlet type, battery voltage and accepted DC power.
  2. Charging schedule State daily volume, peak arrivals and available dwell time.
  3. Electrical supply Provide site voltage, transformer capacity and other major loads.
  4. Bay arrangement Identify connector quantity, parking positions and required cable reach.
  5. Operating method Define user access, networking, payment and platform requirements.

Passenger EV Charging

Match output to the battery platforms and charging limits of the intended passenger-vehicle mix.

Taxi Fleet Depots

Use vehicle return schedules and shift changes to determine charger quantity and output power.

Logistics Fleets

Coordinate charging with loading cycles, route duration, available parking and overnight dwell time.

Bus Charging Sites

Confirm vehicle charging acceptance, battery size, cable reach and available site power before selection.

Public Charging Hubs

Dual or multi-gun arrangements can improve bay availability where multiple GB/T vehicles arrive together.

Highway Service Areas

Higher-power models require compatible vehicles, sufficient grid capacity and a suitable cooling configuration.

Project Configuration

Confirm the Interface, Power Distribution and Operating Functions

These items should be finalized before production to reduce changes during installation and vehicle commissioning.
