RECENTLY, TESLA CEO MUSK HIGHLIGHTED THE PRECISION GOAL OF CYBERTRUCK ELECTRIC PICKUP MANUFACTURING IN AN INTERNAL EMAIL TO EMPLOYEES, TESLARATI REPORTED. Tesla's Texas plant seems to be working around the clock perfecting the Cybertruck.

Musk wrote in an email, "Due to the Cybertruck's straight edges and glossy metal design, any size change will be very noticeable." All parts of Cybertruck, whether in-house or from suppliers, need to be designed and manufactured to an accuracy of less than 10 microns. ”

"This means that the dimensions of all components must be in millimeters, accurate to three decimal places, and tolerances must be in single digit microns," he said in the email. If low-cost LEGO and soda cans can do that, we can do it too. ”

"Precision is a prerequisite for perfection." He said.

The Cybertruck's inverted triangle and unique body shape may indeed pose some challenges for Tesla's production. In May, Germany's Handelsblatt newspaper reported that some of Tesla's leaked internal documents provided information about the Cybertruck alpha prototype and problems navigating the mass production process.

One of Tesla's challenges with the Cybertruck alpha prototype was body seals and noise levels. Leaked internal documents show that Tesla had to manually seal the Cybertruck. Tesla said in the document that for the production version of the Cybertruck, "we don't have a clear seal in many ways."

The sealing process of the Cybertruck alpha caused noise problems in the cockpit. In their report on the issue, engineers noted that the noise of the alpha prototype was significantly higher than initially predicted at the design stage. Testers found at least 21 potential noise leaks on the Cybertruck's body.

With the recent launch of multiple Cybertrucks at Tesla's Texas plant, Tesla seems to have solved most of the puzzles in the production of this pickup truck. A recent email from Musk hinted that Tesla is currently refining the Cybertruck's manufacturing process.
