In order to meet the demand for rapid energy replenishment, the current high-voltage tram platform is rapidly upgraded.
BYD, Changan AVATAR, Xiaopeng, Great Wall, Ideal, ZEEKR, and other domestic mainstream car companies have also launched or plan to launch 800V high-voltage platforms and equipped models. The road of high-voltage fast charging of car companies is drastic and unstoppable.
If the ordinary fast charging pile can't keep up with the future supercharging demand, it will soon be eliminated, and for charging operators, it will be followed by the secondary investment in equipment, in addition to the equipment replacement cost, the civil engineering construction cost, the operation loss cost during the transformation period will be generated, and the comprehensive resources are extremely wasteful.
This problem is solved if the equipment used can adapt to the development of electric vehicles and support a smooth evolution over the long term. From the perspective of the characteristics of the charging infrastructure using Huawei's fully liquid-cooled supercharging technology, Huawei was also aware of this problem earlier, so it can almost provide charging operators with "one-step" equipment services.
Based on the ultra-fast integrated charging architecture, Huawei's all-liquid-cooled supercharging infrastructure can support long-term smooth evolution in the future, and at the same time cover all models in the full power range, and can be matched for all models in the 200-1000V charging range.
The stability and service life of the equipment are also the core concerns of charging operators in terms of equipment. At present, the service life of charging pile equipment is known to be up to 10 years, but the general maintenance service is less than 5 years. It is reported that Huawei's fully liquid-cooled host has a service life of more than 15 years and has an IP55 protection level, effectively saving equipment costs in the long run.
At the beginning of October this year, Huawei's fully liquid-cooled supercharging station was officially unveiled on the 318 Sichuan-Tibet line, covering Shigatse, Lhasa, Nyingchi, Bomi, Mangkang, and other counties and cities, focusing on highways and scenic spots, with multiple sites at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters. The special environment in the plateau area also poses challenges to the high temperature, high humidity, dust, and corrosion resistance of Huawei's fully liquid-cooled supercharging equipment.
In addition, based on the "self-developed topology + liquid cooling + intelligent optimization", the efficiency of the equipment system is improved by 1%+, reducing electricity costs, and the intelligent O&M system is adopted, compared with traditional air-cooled piles, Huawei's fully liquid-cooled supercharging charging equipment does not need to be regularly dusted, and the liquid is changed once every five years, achieving "zero maintenance" in daily life, and also reducing O&M expenses, and reducing TCO (total cost of ownership) by 40% over the life cycle.
Yao Quan, President of Huawei's Digital Power Charging Network Domain, has publicly emphasized that charging infrastructure is a production tool, and it is necessary to pursue the optimal LCOE throughout the life cycle of the device, maximize the charging capacity of the equipment, maximize the demand of vehicles, and have a long service life so that the charging infrastructure can truly become an advanced productivity.
Huawei's all-liquid-cooled supercharging architecture does show Huawei's determination to still play a "far ahead" role in the charging field.
